CREATIVE | GROUNDED | INCLUSIVE
Black Alphabet is a Chicago-based non-profit that started in response to the lack of spotlight on films that explore the Black LGBTQ experience. This incredible non-profit started the first Black LGBTQ film festival in Chicago and now aims to use media and the creative arts to promote healthy and whole lifestyles to the Black LGBT+ community. Although Black Alphabet came to me with existing brand elements, we worked together to determine their brand goals and a strategy on how to integrate their values and goals into their website's design. The website was designed to reflect Black Alphabet's community, its creativity, inclusivity, and groundedness. It was also structured in a way that fosters and encourages community and donor support.
